Both facilities are in the process of securing the terminals in preparation for Hurricane Rita. Due to the current status of the hurricane at Category 4, both Deer Park and Galena Park will be suspending all activity for tank trucks, rail cars, vessels, and barges at 18:00 hours today, September 21, 2005. We are currently in the process of completing all activity currently at our docks. We will also be communicating with specific customers concerning tanks that may be empty and the need to place a certain amount of product in the tanks for securement issues. At this time, we will not be stripping any tanks empty. All pipeline activity in and out of the terminal will also be shutdown. All available man-power at the facilities will be used to complete securement of the terminals.

Many company personnel live in areas that are scheduled for mandatory evacuations. The terminals will only be staffed with essential personnel at this time.
