Oil Europe, Middle East & Africa Division

Vopak is the largest independent supplier of tank storage services for crude oil and mineral oil products in Europe and the Middle East, with a total storage capacity in excess of 11 million cubic meters. Our customers are oil companies, trading companies, governments (for the management of strategic oil reserves), national oil companies and co-siters (independent manufacturers located on Vopak’s sites that make intensive use of Vopak services).

At the hub location in Rotterdam, we operate four terminals and there is one other terminal in Amsterdam. We are currently building new storage facilities in Amsterdam Westpoort and in the port of Eemshaven in the north of the Netherlands. Our other European oil terminals are located in Germany, Estonia and Sweden. In the Middle East, Vopak is present in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Besides their regional function, these terminals play a key role in the Vopak terminal network and its rendering of services to globally operating oil companies.
